Who the heck are we?

Well, that’s a tough question to answer.  Who is anyone, really?  Maybe the better question is… “Why us?”

I’ll make it very simple.  My name is Zack Wenthe, and I’m a serial entrepreneur, marketer, economic developer, small business developer and owner, and more.  Throughout my background in media, advertising, and real estate, to name a few, I have not only owned several successful businesses along the way, but more importantly have found that one of my greatest passions is working with small businesses.  That is why I set out to create a one-stop resource.

And lucky for you…. You have found it!

Over the last 10 years, I’ve created programs for countless small businesses, counseled many of them on their marketing programs, helped them develop their business plans, guided them through the leasing of their first business location, and helped them promote their grand opening.  I have even been lucky enough to help promote some of their expansions resulting from our successes!

I’ve played the advertising game: I’ve sold it, I’ve bought it, I’ve fought with ad agencies over their outrageous rates.  I know the tricks and have saved myself and my clients a lot of money along the way.  But it’s not all about the money (though I’ll be the first to admit I LOVE the green stuff!).  It’s also about finding that perfect work-life balance: the balance between work and personal lives.

So simply put, my goal is to help more small business owners work on their business instead of being trapped in their business.

Working on your business is not a new concept.  In the book, The E-Myth, Michael Gerber talks in depth about this concept.  Yet he falls short in easy practical advice on how to do that.

That’s where I come in.

I love action.  It’s one thing to sit around and discuss your business.  It’s another to actually do something to make it grow (and rain some of that green stuff that we love!).  Maybe it will be something as simple as our Monday Morning Kickstart newsletter that gives you ideas for the upcoming week.  Maybe it will be our marketing calendar that helps you plan your promotions for the year.  Or maybe what you’re needing is some fresh ideas from our idea exchange to add revenue streams to your business.  Who knows.  But, my goal is to help you grow your business now!
